[Tea] What homeschooling can PRODUCE (the results!)

Hi Friend,

Today we're going to look at the RESULTS of homeschooling!

It always encourages me to know that lots of homeschooled kids grow up to be decent people who love their families and are able to make meaningful contributions to the world we share. Isn't that the goal?

Here's how it worked out with my five kids:

All five of my adult kids have lives they love (including careers, and for two of them, kids too).
They all know how to teach themselves what they want to know or need to know for their jobs.
Each one has either gone to grad school or found a challenging career that they enjoy.
They've all traveled all over the world.
They care about politics, social issues, their friends and families.
They are obsessed with each other! Those early childhood bonds (and conflicts) are now replaced with a special sibling love where they show up for each other relentlessly (really inspires me).
They say nice things about their childhood to me (phew!).
They go to art museums and fairs, plays and concerts, they read read read, and they create!
They are honest, too, and tell me what didn't work—and our relationship is resilient enough to handle it!

I like my kids. They are good people. And they like me! We made it!

In the end, I learned as much from them as they learned from me. It truly was a lifestyle of family learning!
